Tank-Heat Sheaths

During storage and transportation of liquid products, with extremely different temperatures high demands are placed on the quality of the products as well as on the safety and longevity of the designs.

Whether to maintain the temperature, heating up or to compensate for heat losses from tanks, vessels, apparatus or pipes heating sheaths, subjected to different heat carriers, are used applied. These optimize the heating system in the chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries.

Through the use of Heat Sheaths of the SANDER Beheizungssysteme GmbH there is no external pressure on the vessel wall or pipe wall. This eliminates the maintenance inspection and monitoring. Contamination of the product is not possible as the Heat Sheaths build a separate system. The high-quality designs are extremely pressure resistant, shock resistant and vibration resistant so that the vessel or pipeline wall thickness can be reduced to a minimum. The longevity of the models lead to very low maintenance and are therefore characterized by low operating costs. The form of the required Heat Sheaths is manufactured individually according to the customers specific requirements. Special versions with different connectors, cutouts, holes are possible.

In order to ensure efficient heat transfer between the heating medium and the areas to be heated the use of heat transfer compound is often recommended. With this, rather than by radiation or convection, the heat is transmitted by thermal conduction directly to the component to be heated. Any existing voids at Heat Sheath profiles are filled with the heat transfer compound and thus increase the heat transfer. Heat transfer compound is available in different technical designs, so that the use of any type of application is possible.
